We’re not just the masters of everything print… we have big hearts too

At Shereno Printers, we are conscious of our responsibility towards the communities in which we live and work, especially in a time when heightened poverty makes it incumbent on all of us to join hands to serve those in great need. By harnessing the combined power of our technology, workforce, print and design capabilities, and partnerships, we are able to support a wide variety of charitable projects that make a positive contribution to society as well as to individuals who are less fortunate than ourselves.

Over the years, our efforts have been focussed on providing assistance in the areas where we believe we can have the most impact. Some of these efforts have included:

• the use of company vehicles by welfare organisations
• the provision of transport to development and educational organisations in various parts of the country
• subsidisation of high quality printing services to religious, welfare, community-based sports and other organisations
• sponsorship of a handicapped person at a national sporting event
• providing a bursary annually to a student from a disadvantaged background for study in a field related to the printing industry and giving them the opportunity to possibly join the Shereno team
• donations towards medical costs for a child with a rare bone disease
• sponsorship towards SANCA’s drug rehabilitation programmes

This sense of social responsibility is an essential part of Shereno’s business philosophy and our commitment towards making a difference is ongoing.
